Everton boss, David Moyes, is keen on signing Manchester City’s Nedum Onuoha, and is reportedly in talks with the Blues about taking the defender on loan.
Onuoha impressed while on loan at Sunderland last campaign, and looking at the tight budget Moyes is used to operating on, he would like to sign the defender on the same terms.
Sunderland were rumoured to be interested in signing the £40,000-a-week player on a permanent basis but face competition from Blackburn and Bolton.
The 24 year-old wants to stay in the north-east for family reasons, and could be on his way out of the Etihad Stadium soon, as he looks to have been deemed surplus to requirements.
