Everton FC contemplating loan deal for Manchester United striker

Sources suggest Everton are eyeing a loan move for Manchester United's Danny WelbeckEverton are keen on landing Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck on loan after being impressed with the youngsters performances for Sunderland this season.

Welbeck signed for Manchester United in 2008 on a professional contract but has only featured in 8 league games for the Old Trafford side scoring one goal in the process, he has also played for Preston North End on loan too and whilst many believe it is time to re-join his Red Devil team mates he could be loaned out for one further season – this time to Everton.

Whilst Sir Alex Ferguson is not keen on selling the 20 year old permanently at this stage it is believed that one more years worth of experience in the Premiership could see Welbeck then re-join his team mates next summer with the departure of Dimitar Berbatov quite likely.

Conspiracy theorists would see Welbeck joining Everton as a chance for Ferguson to see how the striker and Rodwell team up together for the long term future.
