Everton are considering a move for two Premiership players including Darron Gibson of Manchester United and Marc Albrighton of Aston Villa.
Everton manager David Moyes is looking to add some young talent with good potential if he can get them at the right price although we are led to believe a deal for Gibson could mean Jack Rodwell heading in the other direction next season. Albrighton looks to be the man to replace Steven Pienaar who left for Tottenham during the January transfer window and with the 21 year old also able to play on the left it would seem an appropriate acquisition.
Gibson has not played as much for United this season as he would perhaps have liked and Moyes could be in a position to offer a little bit more football than Sir Alex Ferguson can although the United manager does rate the Irishman as one for the future at Old Trafford.
Should Moyes have the funds for either without having to sell Rodwell then Everton’s midfield will have some scope and depth for the new campaign however should the Everton manager have to sell Rodwell to complete both deals then a move for only one of the Premiership players will be likely opting to keep young Rodwell on board.
