Everton manager David Moyes impressed with Greek starlet
Everton manager David Moyes has said how impressed he is with the clubs latest up and coming talent Apostolos Vellios.
The 19 year old was once again impressive at the weekend when he came on as a late substitution on Saturday against Wigan Atheltic scoring a goal in the process and creating issues for Roberto Martinez’s men.
Talking of the youngster Moyes said:
“He can finish from crosses, he’s got the ability to get on the end of things, technically he’s really good for a big lad, he’s very gifted. There’s something to work with. It’s the only way we can do it, to give some of these young boys a chance. There’s the best of what we’ve got at the moment.”
