Everton target Spurs playmaker as Goodison Park look set to lose Spaniard

Everton are lining up Tottenham Hotspur’s Niko Kranjčar as a possible replacement for Mikel Arteta who could be heading to Spain this summer.

The Spanish playmaker has been linked with a move back home for some time now and it seems Sevilla could be favourites to land the creative midfielder. Moyes though has already looked into the availability of Kranjčar who is seeking a side who will be able to offer him more first team football.

Everton without Arteta would certainly be a club in that position and the 26 year old, who has also been linked with moves abroad, may choose to continue in the Premiership. It is believed a bid of £8m should be enough to tempt Harry Redknapp however Moyes will need to sell Arteta first.
