Everton manager, David Moyes, is targeting Darron Gibson as a January loan signing as he continues to work on a tight budget.
The Scot failed to spend on any permanent transfer in the summer window, instead sticking to free transfer and loan signings amongst the supposed cash troubles the club is facing.
Gibson was close to moving to the Stadium of Light in the summer, along with John O’Shea and Wes Brown, however the Republic of Ireland international failed to agree personal terms and stuck on at Old Trafford.
The 23 year-old has fallen out of favour at Manchester United as the youngsters continue to thrive with the Premier League champions, and Gibson could be open to the move as he searches for more first team football.
