Fabio Borini to be shipped out this January

Brendan Rodgers does not expect the Italy international to be a part of his future plans at Anfield and will put him on the transfer list once the January transfer window opens.

After what was considered as a really good 2013/2014 season for Fabio Borini during which he played on a season long loan with Sunderland, the 2014/15 season was touted to be a career changing one for the Italian striker.

Last season, the former Roma man played a huge role in helping the Black Cats avoid relegation but things have not gone according to plan ever since he has returned to Liverpool with first team opportunities hard to come by.

And reports claim that Italian SerieA side Internazionale are keen on signing Borini who is surplus to requirements at Anfield. Sunderland are also willing to hand the Italian a lifeline but the striker is not really willing to be a part of another relegation dogfight.

Roberto Mancini, the manager of the San Siro giants, is keen on adding new faces to the squad and could approach Liverpool with an offer for the Italian outcast who is likely to welcome the chance of returning to his homeland where he made a promising start to his career with Roma.
