Ferguson close to Pool switch
After agreeing a fee with Birmingham City, Blackpool are edging closer to a deal that would see Barry Ferguson move to Bloomfield Road.
It is believed the main reason for the Scot’s move is so that he can be closer to his family in the north.
After the departures of Charlie Adam and David Vaughan, Ian Holloway will be keen to add midfield replacements to his ranks and sees Ferguson as just that.
Barry Ferguson has been given the all-clear to leave Birmingham’s training camp in Ireland, so that he can discuss terms with Blackpool.
