Tick, tock, tick, tock. The final few hours of this summer’s transfer window are upon us and as usual we can expect some big moves over the next few hours. Some will shock the nation sure, others will have been predicted and reported in the press for months.
Clubs like Arsenal and Tottenham look to be the busiest at the moment and it will be entertaining to see how they do. Chelsea meanwhile have been constantly rebuffed for Luka Modric and will now have to look elsewhere if they still require that elusive playmaker fans are calling out for.

Chelsea FC will sign Alvaro Pereira on Wednesday after failing to lure Ajax right-back Gregory van der Wiel from the Netherlands with the 23 year old currently happy at the club and not wishing to make any future plans until next summer.
