The first international break does give some managers food for thought, especially when they see certainly players doing so well for their country. Some will regret not making the most of the transfer window, other managers will be pleased they did not pursue any initial interest however when it comes to Bolton’s and England’s Gary Cahill, the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal could well be wishing they did something sooner.
