For Manchester United captain Roy Keane has expressed his desire to return to football management but wishes to be given a chance to take a team to the “very top”.
Keane has been out of managerial work since his sacking from Ipswich at the beginning of the year and Keane believes he has the potential to do great things.
“I’m a young manager and I want a club to take to the very top.”
The Manchester United legend added.
“Potentially I could be a good manager. But potential is one thing, doing it is something very different.”
Whilst Keane has not really managed a team inside the top six, changes can happen fast in the Premiership and there is no guarantee that both Tottenham Hotspur or Chelsea will have managers in two weeks time.
