Former Manchester City midfielder turned BBC expert Trevor Sinclair has hailed Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin’s performance against his old club as the Frenchman starred in the Gunners’ 2-0 at the Etihad,
Following a number of damaging away defeats, not least the 6-3 thrashing at the hands of Man City last season, Arsenal finally produced a mature performance to claim a win on the road against one of their rivals.
Central to that win was Coquelin, who delivered a top level performance and carried his tactical instructions relentlessly as David Silva’s influence was minimized. Their gaffer Arsene Wenger praises Francis Coquelin after impressing in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Man City.
