Bayern Munich will be looking to keep the pressure on Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund this weekend when they travel to bottom of the table Freiburg on Saturday evening.
By the time this one gets underway at 5.30pm, Dortmund could be five points clear of Bayern, while Borussia Mönchengladbach could also have leapfrogged them into second place.
This highlights how close it is at the top of the table in Germany this season and also how crucial each and every fixture is for Bayern Munich.
Make no mistake about it, they need to go to Freiburg on Saturday, forget about what the other teams are up to and put in a professional performance to gain three points.

The recent form of Jupp Heynckes’s men certainly suggests they will do just that. They have won four of their last five Bundesliga game and only lost once in the league since the 22nd October 2011.
They have also kept clean sheets in each of their last three league games, while goals haven’t been a problem all season with 49 in 21 games so far. Overall, everything is in place for a title challenge, but they can ill afford any slip ups.
As for Freiburg, things are starting to look a little desperate for them. They sit rock bottom of the Bundesliga at the moment after just four wins all season.
There isn’t any need to panic quite yet though. They are only three points away from safety, so the battle for survival looks set to go right down to the wire.
With regards to their recent form, they have lost two of their last three games, while they have only won one of their last nine Bundlesliga games. They must make sure they keep picking up regular points though, otherwise they will not be able to claw their way out of the bottom three.
Looking at the team news for this weekend, Freiburg will be without the injured Mensur Mujdza, Pavel Krmas, Anton Putsila and Julian Schuster. As for Bayern, they too have injury problems with Bastian Schweinsteiger, Breno and Daniel van Buyten all unavailable.
