Fulham out of the race to sign Birmingham City forward

Sources are suggesting that Fulham boss, Martin Jol, has pulled out of the race to sign Birmingham City forward, Cameron Jerome.

The Cottagers are believed to have had a £3m bid for the forward rejected on Monday night, and were thought to return with a larger offer.

However, the former Tottenham boss has refused to up his bid, and will leave the door open for Stoke City, who previously showed interest in the 24 year-old, to submit a new offer.

The striker is likely to leave the Blues this summer, given the financial problems that the club are currently experiencing, and are striving to offload some of their more well-paid players.
