Fulham manager, Martin Jol, is adamant to add another striker to his ranks before the transfer window closes in just over two weeks’ time.
Jol says that he is happy with current forwards, Bobby Zamora and Andrew Johnson, but would like to have more variety.
The Dutchman told SkySports: “I feel there is more to come from Zamora and Johnson but we played too many long balls to Bobby. I’d like to add a few things going forward.”
The former Tottenham boss added: “We saw if we swap our No.9 I have to put Clint Dempsey there and I don’t want to do that. That’s why we will try to do something in the transfer window. Does that mean a striker is my priority? Maybe.”
Fulham played out a 0-0 draw against Aston Villa in their opening Premier League fixture.
