Horse racing continues at Goodwood with Bet365 announcing free bets as Dawn Approach & Toronado battle in the Sussex Stakes, with as live streaming available on the race, the company reports.

The popular Stoke based unit has announced it will be televising live pictures from all the action at the racecourse, as well as offering punters a full in play service as horse racing punters look forward to a titanic encounter between Dawn Approach & Toronado in the Sussex Stakes at 3.05pm.

Its Day two of Glorious Goodwood will once again be a thrilling few hours of action and we are treated to some cracking racing on Wednesday afternoon.

In total, there are seven encounters taking place and there is nowhere else to start than with the highlight of the day – the Qipco Sussex Stakes. This is a Group 1 race run over a distance of one mile and it should be a superb race.

Goodwood Day Two: Bet365 Free Bets Offer

Its Day Two of Glorious Goodwood as Bet365 release a free bet offer worth £200/€200 to customers to spend on any race, while the firm is also offering free bets should you back a winner at 4/1 or more! – claim here!

of the talk is about the battle between Dawn Approach and Toronado for this one as not many feel as though anyone can stop these two finishing in first and second.

The former is the 11/10 favourite, but the latter isn’t far behind and can be backed at 13/8 to win this one.

We last saw these two battle it out in the St James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot and Dawn Approach proved a few critics wrong in that race, winning by a short-head ahead of Toronado.

Jim Bolger will be looking for a similar run from his talented colt, but knows that Richard Hannon and Richard Hughes have an extremely strong horse at their disposal, so it should make for gripping viewing.

Don’t rule out Declaration of War either though as Aidan O’Brien’s charge has proved he is no stranger to performing on the big stage and at 5/1, he could be where the value is at.

The rest of the field is out at 33/1 and over, so have to cause a massive upset to be in contention for this one.

There is of course plenty more racing for punters to enjoy throughout the day and all the action gets underway at 1.55pm with the UBS Goodwood Stakes.

There are as many as 20 runners for this two mile, five furlong clash, so it is going to be a tough one to predict.

With that does come some good value though and the current favourite – Broxbourne – might be a decent bet at 6/1.

At 2.30, you have the Neptune Investment Management Gordon Stakes, which another big race to look forward to.

This one is run over a distance of one mile and four furlongs and Excess Knowledge is the 5/2 favourite. This colt has been in action just once this campaign and looked impressive when third at Sandown. He is only likely to improve this time out.

Cap O’rushes will be a challenger though at 9/2, as will Elkaayed, but Secret Number looks to be the best value at 11/2.

The Veuve Clicquot Vintage Stakes is another Group 2 meeting and this seven furlong trip features some decent two-year-olds.

Richard Hannon and Richard Hughes teamed up to win this last year with Olympic Glory and they could do the same here as Toormore looks to be a talent and can be backed at 2/1.

Parbold is also at 2/1 and the two front-runners could battle it out for the win.

The remaining three races are the Markel Insurance Maiden Fillies’ Stakes, the British Stallion Turf Club E.B.F Fillies’ Handicap and the Harwoods Racing Club Handicap. All three should be interesting to watch.

Bring on another superb day at this famous meeting.

Betfair Chase Meeting – Tips from Haydock and Ascot

Published

on

exeter live stream

There’s nothing like a cheeky flutter on a Friday and the racing today is of a standard that will undoubtedly bring the big boys out to play.

There’s some top action from Haydock Park – the first day of the Betfair Chase meeting – and also from Ascot, where Nicky Henderson usually dominates.

That’s the angle we’re concentrating on this afternoon, with the Seven Barrows handler saddling a couple of horses with fantastic chances of doing the business.

Last season Henderson unleashed subsequent Grade One winner Beat That in the Geotech Soil Stabilisation “National Hunt” Maiden Hurdle (Ascot 1:00) and this race always has a habit of producing a good horse with Many Clouds, who should take a bit of beating in the Hennessy Gold Cup next weekend, winning this contest in 2012 when he was novice hurdler.

This year Henderson is saddling exciting youngster Saint Charles, who is owned by the powerhouse that is JP McManus and is thought of very highly from the Henderson stable staff.

Although Saint Charles, an expensive buy from the pointing field, never really looked like enhancing Henderson´s fine record in the bumper at Ayr he was given his debut at, much better is expected of him on his hurdling debut if the noises out of the Henderson yard are to be believed.

Trading around the 3/1 mark, I’m sure we’ll know early Friday morning whether this horse is expected to dot up at Ascot or not.

If the money comes make sure you follow.

Also on a sparkling card from Berkshire, Sweet Deal looks the banker of the day for Henderson in the final race on the card.

The Canaccord Genuity Handicap Hurdle (Ascot 3:50) has been depleted by the inclusion of the selection, which examples just how much this horse has to offer at this level on his handicap debut.

After getting beat when favourite at Sandown in a novice event in December, Henderson freshened the horse up and he came back roaring with two wins over the summer at Aintree and Uttoxeter.

That win at Uttoxeter was especially impressive and is strong form.

After his win at Aintree a fortnight earlier, beating Hawdyerwheesht and Deadly Sting, who had finished first and second in the earlier maiden hurdle the 4yo showed plenty of class to come through a bit of a battle with the runner up Rolling Maul to get back on terms and stay on strongly to win by 10 lengths.

Anything around even money would be a steal.

Saturday Horse Racing : Latest Streams and Channel 4 Offer

Published

on

exeter live stream

When the wind is howling and the rain is pouring, there is no better time to curl up in front of the TV on a Saturday afternoon and enjoy some top-class horse racing action on Channel 4. It would be rude also not to have a dabble or two. It is the weekend after all.

Our man Lewis Jones, who tipped up a 20/1 winner a couple of weeks back at Newmarket, has taken a good look at the action from Doncaster, where they go flat racing, and at Wincanton, where the jumps take centre stage. Lewis has found a bet to follow from both tracks…

Doncaster 3:35 – November Handicap

The booking of big-race claiming jockey Louis Steward is a huge plus for the chances of the very talented yet frustrating First Mohican, who can be backed at 16/1.

Steward has steered Mutual Regard to victory in the Ebor at York and Bronze Angel to success in the Cambridgeshire this season to show he’s a man for the big occasion.

The selection actually was a red hot 3/1 favourite for this race two years ago but toiled in quick conditions, finishing down the field.

He has been disappointing in truth ever since but does have the edge of a summer break behind him coming into this race, which looks cherry ripe for him if he can put his best foot forward.

The ground will be right up his street on Town Moor and his last win came in a York handicap off a rating of 100 when he was fresh, so he’s racing off a mark just 2lb higher than that. Everything looks right for a huge run.

Wincanton 3:15 – Elite Hurdle

The day’s banker has to be Irving in the feature at Wetherby, who should rate much better than his current mark of 148.

He looked a horse with huge potential when dotting up at Taunton, Ascot and Kempton before flopping when favourite in the Supreme Novices Hurdle.

He was easy to back that day, found himself behind nearing the third-last and was off the bridle at that stage. He made some late headway and perhaps if Nick Scholfield had his chance again he would sit handier.

Trainer Paul Nicholls has big faith in this horse and he should be stronger with a summer on his back. This looks an ideal starting point with the selection getting 12lbs off former Champion Hurdler Rock On Ruby.

Wednesday Racing Tips : Kempton, Warwick & Nottingham Streaming

Published

on

watch racing from kempton live streaming

Today should be day for the talented but frustrating Musaddas to strike at Kempton in the Betdaq Commission Free Football On Saturday Handicap (7:40).

Although carrying the tag as a bit of a monkey, the selection has so much ability and looks capable of flying up the handicap if handled correctly.

He’s finished second seven times in 12 starts due to his strong travelling nature but doesn’t always find enough when asked to go win his race. The key to him breaking this frustrating sequence is the drop back in trip today, which looks right up his street.

He’s done most of his racing over a mile or further but doesn’t quite have the staying capabilities for that distance. Under a prominent ride at Kempton, over seven furlongs, he should be knocking at the door. At 6/1 he’s a risk worth taking.

The jockey booking of young apprentice Kevin Stott also has to be seen as a major positive.

We’ve been raving about the skills of this young apprentice for a while now and are happy to see the pair join up together again today at Kempton.

Trainer Saeed Bin Suroor has been quick to analyse that Stott is the next best thing since sliced bread on the apprentice scene and the youngster has ridden three winners from six rides for the stable. His faith has been rewarded by a 40% strike rate.

Stott rode an impressive double for Godolphin when we was in attendance at Lingfield a couple of weeks back and it was hard not to pour extensive praise on the shoulders of the young jockey. It was his adaptability and all-round abilities that really drew him to our attention as both rides showed off his different qualities.

The win on Hidden Gold for the boys in blue was a more waiting effort that showed his capabilities of judging pace from the back of the field whilst his win on Evening Rain was a more punch effort from the front. Forcing the horse’s head to the front when all were challenging in behind him. He’s a jockey going places and he’s well worth following when given the required ammunition from a strong stable like Bin Suroor’s.

His stable has been rocketing in the winners of late, sending our 19 winners this month, including a healthy strike rate of 36% from a wide ranging number of 37 runners. Everything looks cherry ripe for a bold bid from the selection.
