Aston Villa defender, Habib Beye, is hoping that he can flourish and come back into the first team under the reign of new manager, Alex McLeish.
In the two years since his arrival in 2009, Beye has made only 11 appearances and is hoping the managerial change will give him his chance.
Speaking to the Birmingham Mail, the Senegalese international said: “It’s a fresh start for everyone. If the manager needs me, I will be here. It’s not about me. As a professional you want to play week-in and week-out but sometimes you can’t.
The 33 year-old added: “If you don’t play every game you are still part of the team and the squad. We’re all in it together. It’s about everyone.”
