Leicester City manager, Sven Goran Eriksson, has stated that the ball is in Owen Hargeaves’ court whether he joins the Foxes or not.
Hargreaves was released by Manchester United at the beginning of the summer, and is yet to decide on a club, with West Brom also interested.
Speaking to the Leicester Mercury, Eriksson stated: “I finally spoke to him one week ago and he knows if he wants to come he is more than welcome.”
The Swede added: “Owen is a fantastic player if he is fit. If he wants to come he will phone me for sure.”
The Leicester boss worked with Hargreaves on an international level when he was manager of England.
