David Healy has earned himself a recall to the Northern Ireland national squad after he was omitted for a period by Nigel Worthington.
Worthington dropped the striker due to a concern over the lack of game time Healy was experiencing.
The forward will be included in a 23-man squad to face Faroe Islands on August 10.
Along with the Rangers forward, Burnley’s Martin Paterson and Derby’s Jamie Ward have won recalls to Worthington’s squad.
There’s also good news for Derry City’s James McClean, who has been offered the chance to make his international debut for Northern Ireland.
