Holland v Mexico Bets : Latest odds, betting and match preview from World Cup Sunday

The Netherlands are in action with Holland v Mexico from the World Cup, with latest free bets, odds, betting and match preview from Sunday’s knock out games (KO 17:00GMT).

Holland take on Mexico in the first of Sunday’s last 16 clashes.

Holland won all three Group C matches, including impressive victories over Chile and the tournament holders Spain.

Their final group win over Chile meant they edged La Roja out for top spot and on paper given a much easier route to the final.

Norwich City midfielder Leroy Fer and Memphis Depay scored late goals for Louis Van Gaal’s side meaning they take on Mexico instead of Brazil.

Mexico themselves have impressed at the 2014 World Cup, remaining unbeaten in a group including the hosts and favourites for the competition.

Miguel Herrera’s side won their winner takes all clash against Croatia on Monday, with captain Rafael Marquez among the goalscorers.

Their point with Brazil was the impressive result during Group A, meaning they only missed out on top spot on goal difference.

Mexico won the first two fixtures between the two nations, however both were in the 1960’s and El Tricolour are winless since.

Holland have won three of the other four matches, although the pair draw 2-2 at the 1998 World Cup, with Mexico coming from two goals down to draw.

Holland players on yellow cards: Daley Blind, Stefan de Vrij, Jonathan de Guzman
Mexico players on yellow cards: Rafael Marquez, Paul Aguilar, Hector Moreno

Team news
Robin Van Persie will return from a ban for Holland and will replace Jermain Lens up front, with Van Gaal desperate to have his captain back.

Georginio Wijnaldum is likely to drop out, despite starting against Chile on Monday, along with the former Liverpool man Dirk Kuyt.

Bruno Martins Indi wasn’t risked in Holland’s final group fixture and will return, probably along with Jonathan de Guzman, although his place in the starting XI is up for debate.

Jose Vasquez is suspended for Mexico, after collecting yellow cards against Brazil and Croatia at the group stage.

Expect to see Carlos Pena come in for Vasquez, with Mexico continuing to use the three at the back formation.

Once again Javier Hernandez will be named on the substitutes bench, with Oribe Peralta leading the line on his own.

Holland (5-2-2-1): Cillessen, Janmaat, de Vrij, Vlaar, Martins Indi, Blind, de Jong, de Guzman, Sneijder, Robben, Van Persie
Mexico (3-5-1-1): Ochoa, Rodriguez, Moreno, Marquez, Layun, Herrera, Pena, Aguilar, Guardado, Dos Santos, Peralta
