There are 22 Championship teams in action on Boxing Day and as ever, it will be an extremely competitive afternoon on Wednesday.
The early kick-off looks like being a cracker as Nottingham Forest host Leeds United at the City Ground. They are both just outside of a play-off spot as well, so it should be a superb 90 minutes with a cracking atmosphere as Neil Warnock’s Lilywhites go for their sixth win in seven matches.
With Luciano Becchio back to his best in front of goal, the 11/5 on offer for the away win is sure to see plenty of attention from punters.

At 1PM, Charlton Athletic are at home to Ipswich Town and the away side need the points to move away from the bottom three. Charlton have not won in four, so need a win themselves.
Moving into the 3PM kick-offs, there is no doubt that Cardiff City v Crystal Palace is the big game as it is a battle between first and third. Palace have drawn their last three, so need a victory here, but know how tough it is going to be against a Cardiff side full of confidence.
A single Craig Bellamy goal was enough to see of Leicester on the weekend, and gave the Bluebirds a handy three point lead at the top of table as the evens available on the home win looks too big to ignore.
Hull City are the team in second after four straight victories and they take on Leicester City on Boxing Day, who are in fifth, but have lost their last two. Nigel Pearson will be hopeful his Foxes can stop the rot and revive their automatic promotion bid, however Steve Bruce’s Hull side are flying at the moment and simply cannot be ignored at 6/4.
Sheffield Wednesday have secured back-to-back wins and moved out of the bottom three, so should be in good spirits when they head to Bolton Wanderers.
Just when Middlesbrough look like going on a great run, they seem to lose a game and they will want to bounce back this week when they host Blackburn Rovers.
Peterborough United had an incredible 5-4 win over Bolton on Saturday and they have now won two in a row, so should head to Wolverhampton Wanderers with a bit of confidence.
Derby County then make the journey to Burnley and then two struggling sides, Birmingham City and Bristol City, also lock horns.
The final game to look at sees Huddersfield Town take on Blackpool. Both started the season fairly well, but have been poor in recent weeks, so need a take all three points here to try and move closer to the top six.
