It’s understood that Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and David Stockdale are close to agreeing moves to Ipswich Town on permanent and loan deals, respectively.
Emmanuel-Thomas, 20, is an Arsenal youth product and has turned out for the Gunners five times while Stockdale, 25, has made 13 appearances for the Cottagers since arriving from Darlington in 2008.
Stockdale earned an England call-up in June after a successful string of appearances for Fulham in Mark Schwarzer’s absence. Emmanuel-Thomas has had loan spells at Doncaster, Blackpool and most recently Cardiff over the past two seasons.
Both players are expected to tie up their transfers in time for Ipswich’s friendly against Colchester United on Tuesday night.
