Ipswich manager, Paul Jewell, has confirmed that his club have had two bids rejected for Millwall midfielder, James Henry.
The 21 year-old was a key part of Millwall’s setup last season and manager Kenny Jackett is keen to keep him in south-east London.
Jewell commented on the transfer, saying: “We had a bid for James Henry turned down by Millwall. That was the second bid we’ve put in,”
“It’s been rejected by Millwall and they’ve told us he’s not for sale, so that’s probably dead that one.”
Jewell has stated that Ipswich will now be looking elsewhere in their search for midfield options.
