The Fiorentina star set to undergo his Chelsea medical tomorrow ahead of his transfer to Stamford Bridge. The Colombia star has reportedly flown to London and is ready for the tests.
Cuadrado is set for a £23.3m move – which will include add ons and could also see Mohamed Salah move the other way on loan – as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his squad.
The 26-year-old was linked with a move to Old Trafford in the summer but Chelsea have seemingly piped them to the move.
And now Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella is resigned to losing Cuadrado and believes he could thrive in the Premier League.
“He has the characteristics suited to English football because he’s fantastic in positive transitions and with Mourinho it could be perfect.” Said Vincenzo Montella
“I think Chelsea have probably been in talks with his agent, but I don’t know. His €35m release clause has to be paid if he is to leave.” he added.
According to the reports, both the Chelsea stars Mohammed Salah and Andre Schurrle are close to leave Stamford Bridge. This will make an easy entry of Colombian International into the main team. Chelsea are currently leading the Premier League table.
