Juventus and Roma are rumoured to be favourites for Tottenham’s Croatian midfielder Niko Kranjcar who has told Spurs manager Harry Redknapp that he will look to leave in the summer transfer window.
The 26 year old has only picked up 34 appearances for the White Hart Lane outfit since 2009 and with the likes of Rafael van der Vaart and Luka Modrić being Redknapp’s main choice for the midfield, Kranjcar is certainly one player who will not be in North London after the summer.
Juventus and Roma are suspected to be on the look out for a play making midfielder and the experience of Kranjcar, who has over sixty international caps to his name, will certainly provide either Serie A club with an excellent option to have in their squad.
With Daniel Levy recently suggesting that Spurs would need to trim the squad should they not retain a Champions League place then both he and Redknapp may see the Croatian midfielder as the first player to depart White Hart Lane this summer.
