On Saturday, Torino and Sampdoria lock horns in a battle between two teams in the bottom half of the table, however, neither look like being involved in a relegation battle this campaign.
Torino are the form side coming into this one as they haven’t lost in six, so you can be sure they will be full of confidence. You can back them at 6/5.
Then, Napoli can move level with league-leaders Juventus if they claim an expected three points at home to Catania. At the moment, they are an 11/21 shot to win this one.
Napoli have claimed 13 points from a possible 15 in their last five Serie A matches and take on a Catania team that have won their last three, so it does make for an enthralling encounter.
Moving onto Sunday, the early kick-off sees Juventus travel to Chievo and the pressure might be on the former to grab the points if Napoli win on Saturday.
Juve could only manage a draw at home to Genoa last time out, which they will see as not good enough as Antonio Conte looks for improvement. Chievo sit comfortably in mid-table right now and can come into this one with the pressure off, so they might be ready to cause an upset.
If you think they’ll do just that, then Chievo can be backed at around 5/1.
Inter Milan travel to bottom of the table Siena and will be looking to move into a Champions League spot with a win. Inter have drawn their last two, so know the victories need to start coming as they travel to the Stadio Artemio Franchi looking for a valuable three points.
Andrea Stramaccioni’s side should have enough and look decent value at 10/9.
Lazio are the side that currently occupy third space and they have a trip to Genoa on Sunday.
With Genoa in the bottom three, you would say this should be a straight forward win for Lazio, but with the way the home side performed against Juventus last time out, they are not to be taken lightly.
Fiorentina have moved down to sixth after four games without claiming all three points and they host a Parma team that sit in mid-table at the moment.
It could be quite a cagey affair at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence as neither are in the best of form.
Pescara have now lost their last three in Serie A and that has seen them drop down to 17th in the league, just two points clear of safety. They entertain Bologna this weekend knowing that all three points are vital.
Two teams in no form whatsoever at the moment also meet as Palermo take on Atalanta. Neither of these two have won this year, so are both desperate for points.
Finally, all eyes will be on Mario Balotelli in the evening kick-off between AC Milan and Udinese.
Balotelli of course completed his move to Milan from Manchester City during the week and will be looking to hit the ground running. He can be backed at 4/1 to break the deadlock.
In terms of league position, this is a massive game as Massimiliano Allegri’s Milan are in fifth, but a win for Udinese would move them to within just a point of their opponents.
With big games at the top and bottom of the table, it should be a superb weekend of action in Serie A.
