Wednesday Racing Tips : Kempton, Warwick & Nottingham Streaming

Today should be day for the talented but frustrating Musaddas to strike at Kempton in the Betdaq Commission Free Football On Saturday Handicap (7:40).

Although carrying the tag as a bit of a monkey, the selection has so much ability and looks capable of flying up the handicap if handled correctly.

He’s finished second seven times in 12 starts due to his strong travelling nature but doesn’t always find enough when asked to go win his race. The key to him breaking this frustrating sequence is the drop back in trip today, which looks right up his street.

He’s done most of his racing over a mile or further but doesn’t quite have the staying capabilities for that distance. Under a prominent ride at Kempton, over seven furlongs, he should be knocking at the door. At 6/1 he’s a risk worth taking.

The jockey booking of young apprentice Kevin Stott also has to be seen as a major positive.

We’ve been raving about the skills of this young apprentice for a while now and are happy to see the pair join up together again today at Kempton.

Trainer Saeed Bin Suroor has been quick to analyse that Stott is the next best thing since sliced bread on the apprentice scene and the youngster has ridden three winners from six rides for the stable. His faith has been rewarded by a 40% strike rate.

Stott rode an impressive double for Godolphin when we was in attendance at Lingfield a couple of weeks back and it was hard not to pour extensive praise on the shoulders of the young jockey. It was his adaptability and all-round abilities that really drew him to our attention as both rides showed off his different qualities.

The win on Hidden Gold for the boys in blue was a more waiting effort that showed his capabilities of judging pace from the back of the field whilst his win on Evening Rain was a more punch effort from the front. Forcing the horse’s head to the front when all were challenging in behind him. He’s a jockey going places and he’s well worth following when given the required ammunition from a strong stable like Bin Suroor’s.

His stable has been rocketing in the winners of late, sending our 19 winners this month, including a healthy strike rate of 36% from a wide ranging number of 37 runners. Everything looks cherry ripe for a bold bid from the selection.
