Following Coventry City’s last two impressive results, Richard Keogh believes that their performances have proven that there have been no dressing room rifts at the Ricoh Arena.
Before last weekend’s 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest, it was believed that there was tension building up between the Sky Blues players due to their disappointing start to the season.
But following their win against Forest; Andy Thorn’s side followed-up with another promising performance as they nicked a last minute goal to draw at Leeds United on Tuesday, whilst Keogh has revealed that he is pleased with the spirit on show.
Keogh told the Coventry Telegraph: “It was a busy night for me and the other lads at the back.
“We knew it was going to be a difficult test and when you play against players like that you know you have to be on top of your game.
“I thought our passing and movement was fantastic in the second half and I don’t think you will see a more one-sided half at Elland Road from an away side maybe all season.” Keogh added.
“I think it just goes to show the spirit we have got in the team. Obviously there were some rumours going around before the Nottingham Forest game and that’s not nice.”
