On paper, this should be a comfortable win for Real, but they have lost five games this campaign and only one of those have been against a team that currently sit in the top six, so do struggle against the teams around the bottom.

With four wins in five matches though, Jose Mourinho’s men seem to be in good form coming into this one and if Cristiano Ronaldo continues his hot-streak in front of goal, it will be a comfortable evening for the current champions. Hecan be backed at 11/5 to score first.

They also have the chance to pile the pressure on Atletico Madrid with a win and move to within just a point of their city rivals, so it is a big game for Mourinho and his team.

Deportivo are in real trouble as they have lost their last five and conceded 14 goals in that time. With the attacking qualities Real have and the defensive problems in Deportivo’s squad, we could see plenty of goals in this one.

Later on, Barcelona welcome Sevilla to the Nou Camp in what should be a very entertaining 90 minutes of action.

Barca are twelve points clear at the top and have won back-to-back matches after a tough few weeks in La Liga.

The Catalan giants were of course involved in Champions League action during the week and they went down 2-0 and AC Milan, so have to bounce back and rebuild confidence here.

Sevilla currently sit in mid-table, so this should be a comfortable win for Barcelona. Real Madrid rely a lot of Ronaldo and Barca also need Lionel Messi at his best here as when he isn’t, they don’t often play all that well. Messi is at 9/5 to break the deadlock.

With three wins in their last four matches, Sevilla do come to the Nou Camp in decent form, but they know it is going to take their best performance of the campaign to win here.

There are two other games getting underway on Saturday as Mallorca, who are now six points adrift from safety, host a Getafe side sitting comfortably in mid-table right now. This is a bigger game for the home team, but with the way they are playing, it is going to be tough for them to take the spoils.

The final encounter to look at sees Valencia make the journey to Real Zaragoza and the former can move into the top four with a victory.

Valencia are on a four-game unbeaten run, whereas Zaragoza haven’t won in seven La Liga matches now and could slip into the bottom three this weekend. The away team are great value at 13/9.

It should be a superb day of action in La Liga.
