Latics terminate Feeney contract

Wayne Feeney looks to have played his last minutes at Boundary Park, as Oldham decide to terminate the striker’s contract.

The forward hasn’t had the best of times with the Latics, between a plight of injuries and international call-ups, Paul Dickov has decided that the striker is better off elsewhere.

Plymouth are a team interested in the 30 year-olds signature, with a statement on the Oldham website reading: “The 30-year-old is in discussions with Plymouth Argyle with a view to a move to the nPower League Two club.”

The Northern Ireland international managed to score just one goal for Oldham.
