League Two Odds suggest Rotherham and Fleetwood to battle for promotion

The kickoff to League Two is imminent, as Paddy Power report plenty of betting money for Rotherham and Fleetwood, as well as those teams who lost out in the playoffs last year, Southend, Torquay and Cheltenham, as the firm also publishes a new free bets code to pick up.

League Two will be a division to keep an eye on this year as there seems to be plenty of quality in the league and it is one of the most eagerly anticipated campaigns for a while.

The race for the title will of course be one that many people are keeping an eye on. At the moment, it is Rotherham that are being considered the favourites to lift the trophy with odds of 7/2.

Although they only finished in tenth position last season, the Yorkshire side now have Steve Evans in charge of the team for his first full season.

Evans of course achieved great things with Crawley Town and knows what it takes to win titles. The side is also boosted by the return to their newly built home ground of ‘The New York Stadium’ and they have added to their squad in the summer, most notably Icelandic international, Kari Arnason. They are sure to go close.

Another big contender are Fleetwood Town who are being offered at 6/1.

After being promoted from the Conference they are sure to be full of confidence and have managed to attract some big names to the club this summer.

None more so than Jon Parkin who on his day can be unplayable and will be tipped by many to have a very successful campaign in the fourth tier of English football.

Fleetwood would also be able to strengthen their squad in January should they be in a good position.

Chesterfield were title winners of this league back in 2011 but were then relegated in their first season in League One.

They will need to get off to good start to lift spirits in the club and then winning their second title in three years is being offered at 12/1, but with the experience of Jack Lester and new signing Marc Richards leading the line that price is sure to shorten.

With the experience Chesterfield have in this division, they could be the side to beat.

The likes of Southend, Bristol Rovers and Oxford will all have high hopes of winning the title which makes for a superb battle.

The fight for the League Two crown all gets underway on Saturday 18th August.
