It’s understood that Leicester are close to tying up a season-long loan deal for St. Etienne midfielder, Gelson Fernandes.
Fernandes played under Leicester manager, Sven Goran Eriksson, during his time at Manchester City and is thought to be keen on a move back to England.
Eriksson is confident that the Swiss midfielder will soon be playing at the King Power Stadium, telling the Leicester Mercury: “Gelson, yes, it will be official very soon.”
The Foxes are also close to agreeing a deal to sign ex-Manchester City full-back Michael Ball, and a new contract for Aleksandar Tunchev.
