Le Championnat continues this weekend with PSG v Rennes, Lyon v Reims, Bordeaux v Marseille, Nice v Toulouse, Valenciennes v Montpellier available through Bet365’s live stream service.
It was a superb weekend in Ligue 1 last time out and with the top three teams all failing to win, there are just three points separating first and seventh place in this fascinating league.
That makes this round of fixtures all the more exciting and it gets underway on Friday evening when Lorient host Lille. It is the visitors that can move level on points at the top of the table with a victory.

Lorient have not won in seven matches either and know that they need to starting picking up points to avoid being in a relegation battle.
Moving into Saturday, the early kick-off sees Paris Saint Germain in action at home Rennes. PSG have not won in two games now, which Carlo Ancelotti will see as simply not good enough. The former Chelsea boss will also have to make do without the talismatic Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who scored one of the greatest goals midweek for Sweden.
The giant striker is banned following his sending off a fortnight ago against Saint-Etienne.
Three points are a must here, but Rennes will be tough opponents after winning back-to-back matches in Ligue 1, and it remains to be seen how the big spending PSG cope without their leader. Recent results have suggested they cannot, as the away side Rennes look worthy at a value looking price of 6/1.
On Saturday evening, there is a massive crunch match at the bottom of the league as Troyes and Nancy go head-to-head. These two are currently in 19th and 20th respectively, so this is a six-pointer at the foot of the division.
The teams in fourth and fifth also play on Saturday as Valenciennes host the Montpellier, whilst Saint-Etienne travel to struggling Evian.
Ajaccio v Sochaux and Brest v Bastia are the two other encounters taking place on Saturday.
There are then three matches on Sunday and they all look like being crackers. First up, Reims make the journey to Lyon, who are just one point off the top and have a game in hand over PSG. After a draw last time out though, they need to take maximum points this weekend, especially as their opponents have not tasted victory in four games.
Nice then take on a Toulouse side that have lost two matches in a row and slipped down to eighth – so need to bounce back and head up the table again.
The final games sees second placed Marseille in action at Bordeaux, who sit in sixth, so this could be the pick of the ties this weekend.
Marseille know they are not the form team in this one as Bordeaux have won two in a row and are unbeaten at home.
This does have the makings of another exciting and entertaining weekend in Ligue 1.
