Lille star Eden Hazard has opened the door for a move to Inter Milan in the summer after admitting he was flattered to be linked with the Serie A giants.
The 20-year-old has become one of the most sought after young players on the planet after his performances at Stade Lille-Metropole with several of Europe’s leading sides vying for his signature.
Inter are the latest club to confirm their interest in the Belgian international and his response suggests that he would welcome a switch to the San Siro.
He said: “Inter is a fantastic squad. They have great champions. If you play for a club like Inter you have to be considered a top player.
“Of course the interest of top clubs can only please me. When a great club like Inter that has won so much wants me, this can only make me proud.”
Despite being linked with Claudio Ranieri’s side there is also interest from rivals AC Milan and Juventus alongside Premier League trip Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.
Spanish giants Real Madrid also thought to be tracking the midfielders progress after he admitted this will be his final season in France and that he will depart Lille next summer.
“For the time being I’m not thinking about my future,” Hazard said..
“My focus is on Lille. It’s my agent that takes care of negotiations. I will discuss it with him but only in the future, not now.
“Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United all tried to buy me last summer.
“The interests of these great clubs and one like Real Madrid shows all the sacrifices I made were not in vain. I’m on the right track.”
