Liverpool consider bringing Manchester City striker back to Anfield

Reports are suggesting that Liverpool could be lining up a bid that will see former striker, Craig Bellamy, making a return to Anfield.

The forward seems to be surplus to requirements at City and spent last season on loan at Championship side and hometown club, Cardiff City.

The 32 year-old has been linked with moves to Celtic, Sunderland and Everton this summer; however nothing has materialised thus far.

Bellamy could go to the Merseyside club for peanuts, if not nothing at all. He, along with other Manchester City misfits, is not allowed to train with the first team, and the club are adamant to get rid of unnecessary wages.

Bellamy first played in front of the Kop in the 2006-07 season, and would provide an experienced head to the Reds’ frontline.
