Liverpool edge ahead in race for Birmingham star
It’s understood that Liverpool are now favourites to sign Birmingham centre-back, Scott Dann.
The Reds have been linked with a move for the 6ft 2inch defender for the entirety of the summer, and could now be ready to make their £8m move.
Sotirios Kyrgiakos just completed a move away from Anfield to join Bundesliga outfit, Wolfsburg, which could open the path for another centre-back to join.
Arsenal and Stoke are also in the hunt to sign the 24 year-old, however the fast-improving English contingent at place of birth, Merseyside, could be the deciding factor in Dann’s transfer.
