Liverpool FC confirm latest defensive signing
Liverpool FC have confirmed their latest defensive signing as 20 year old Uruguay international Sebastian Coates.
It has been suggested for some time that the youngster would be joining the Anfield side and more a case of when and not if. However the Merseyside club confirmed the signing late on Tuesday evening via the club’s official website who’s statement read:
“Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Uruguay international Sebastian Coates on a long-term contract. The 20-year-old completed his transfer from Nacional after passing a medical and securing a work permit earlier today.”
“Coates will now link up with his international teammates ahead of their friendly in Kiev on Friday night.”
