Republic of Ireland international, Shane Long, has again attracted the interest of Premier League quality, with Liverpool now pondering an offer for the talismanic forward.
Long impressed greatly last season in a campaign that saw him net 28 goals and take Reading to the Championship playoff final.
The 24 year-old scored twice on the weekend against Northampton in a pre-season friendly, where Liverpool scouts were on hand to watch.
It’s suspected that West Ham have already had a £6m bid rejected for Long, while the likes of Everton, Arsenal and now Liverpool are all keen to gain the services of the Irishman.
