Liverpool defender Daniel Agger insists there is still plenty of room for improvement after the Anfield side defeated Bolton Wanderers 3-1 on Saturday.
Liverpool have won two and drawn one in their opening three Premiership games giving fans hope that a top four finish could be on the cards, however Agger believes the side must get better.
“In any team there is always something you can do better, I think in this team there are a lot of things we can do better. This season we have to be consistent with performances like this, that is the only way we can move forward. It is a bit early to be saying we have done that now.”
The Liverpool centre-back added:
“It is still early to say but if you work hard and keep going you normally get there and normally get the amount of luck you need to be at the top. That is what we are aiming to do. It is a bit early to say it after three games so we need to keep going.”
