Liverpool FC are looking to turn to Bayer Leverkusen left back Michal Kadlec after sources revealed that Jose Enrique is set to sign a mammoth new deal at Newcastle United.
Liverpool have been on the look out for a left back since January after using Glenn Johnson in that position for most of the season. Whilst the England international has done well Dalglish is looking for a specialist in that area and Liverpool will make an offer in the coming weeks to land the Czech international.
The 26 year old defender can be somewhat more attacking, and his defence is not as good as his attack. He helped Leverkusen to an impressive second place in the Bundesliga and Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish will need to persuade the left-back out of Champions League football next season.
Dalglish had previously admitted that the club would still be able to attract big names despite no European football on the menu at Anfield and snapping up the talented defender would prove to be quite a negotiating coup for the Merseyside outfit.
