Liverpool have confirmed the departure of midfielder Christian Poulsen to French side Evian.
The 31-year-old was disappointing at Anfield last season after his arrival from Italian club Juventus last summer for a fee of £4.5million.
It was revealed earlier this week that Evian were interested in taking the defensive minded player to Ligue 1 and a deal was finally agreed on deadline day.
Poulsen was signed by the Kop’s former manager Roy Hodgson and made just 21 appearances for the club in his one season at Merseyside.
The Danish international follows former team mate Joe Cole out of Liverpool who sealed his loan move to Lille on loan and David Ngog is believed to be on his way to Bolton Wanderers.
