Liverpool maestro close to joining Serie A giants
Reports are suggesting that Liverpool’s midfield misfit, Alberto Aquilani, could be closing in on a return to Italy with Serie A champions, AC Milan.
Aquilani spent last season on loan at Juventus, showcasing some of the form he has been unable to recapture during his time in England.
Milan are apparently looking to take the 27 year-old on loan, however the Merseyside outfit are keen to sell him for £6m – an £11m loss from when Rafael Benitez bought him from Roma two years ago.
The Daily Star reported the Italian as saying “I am close to joining Milan.”
