Liverpool maestro wants swift move to Milan

Alberto Aquilani’s agent is hoping that he hopes the midfielder’s proposed move to AC Milan is completed in the coming days.

Reds manager, Kenny Dalglish, is looking to rid the squad of excess talent after the summer acquisitions of Jordan Henderson, Stewart Downing and Charlie Adam.

The Italian has failed to make a name for himself in English football since his £18m arrival from Roma in 2009, when Rafael Benitez was at the Liverpool helm.

Juvenus took the midfielder on loan last season where he showed that he still has the ability to perform at the top level, but it looks as if that will not be with the Merseyside outfit.

Franco Zavaglia, the 27 year-olds agent, commented: “I remain in Liverpool until I close the deal with Milan. Aquilani has decided. He wants AC Milan We hope that we can quickly reach the agreement.”
