Liverpool midfielder, Joe Cole is anxious to end his dismal spell at Anfield and would love his next destination to be White Hart Lane.
Cole was brought to Merseyside on a free transfer by former Reds boss, Roy Hodgson, however failed to impress under Kenny Dalglish and found first team places limited.
The recent influx of English midfielders at Liverpool will not have benefitted Cole’s confidence either, and the 29 year-old is confident that a move away is the only solution to salvaging his career.
The former Chelsea wideman worked under Harry Redknapp at West Ham and is looking to reunite with his former boss at Tottenham, a move Redknapp is thought to be interested in if Luka Modric completes a move to Chelsea.
QPR and West Ham are also thought to be in the hunt for Cole’s signature, however the former England international isn’t expected to drop down to the Championship.
