Liverpool star hands in transfer request
The information has emerged that Liverpool’s Portuguese midfielder, Raul Meireles, has handed in a transfer request just as it seems Craig Bellamy will resign for the club.
The maestro was being associated with an £8m move to Chelsea with Yossi Benayoun coming the other way, however the deal was rejected by Liverpool.
With only half an hour to go in the transfer window, the midfielder could struggle to finalise agreements in time for a move away.
