Following a disappointing 1-1 draw against Sunderland, Liverpool record signing, Andy Carroll, is certain he and his teammates will bounce back for a positive Premier League season.
The forward stated: “We are disappointed with the draw but all the lads are happy to get the first game out of the way and with the way things are going.”
Carroll went on to add: “It is going to take everyone a little while to get together; we want a little bit more and we want to get a few more goals but we all think that it is there.”
Pundits are expecting alot from the Mersyside outfit this season, after spending over £100m on transfers in the past two transfer windows.
Carroll is also confident in the influence Kenny Dalglish is having on the club, noting: “Kenny is a great manager and it is great to know that he has given me all his backing. I have just got to give it all back to him, really.”
