Liverpool winger, Stewart Downing, says that the morale surrounding the club is exciting, and the team can reclaim their position among the top four this season.
The Merseysiders have slipped down in their Premier League ranking in recent seasons, but the England international believes it won’t be long before they’re back playing in the Champions League.
The midfielder stated: “There is a feel-good factor. We started the season very well but we’ve got a tough run of games coming up, starting with Stoke (on Saturday).”
The 27 year-old added: “If we keep playing the way we are at Liverpool, we’ve got a hell of a chance of being in the top bracket.”
