Louis van Gaal not impressed with away form

The Manchester United manager is not satisfied with the team’s away performances this season and says that they have to do better away from home

The Dutch tactician admits that The Red Devils have no chance whatsoever to win the league title unless they do something about their indifferent form when it comes to play away from the confines of Old Trafford.

Last night, United stretched their unbeaten league record to 10 games following a 1-1 draw against Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium.

The visitors conceded a goal early on in the game through Ryan Shawcross and it was Radamel Falcao who equalized for his team in an otherwise dull showing put on by the English giants.

And with the talk of a possible title assault becoming a common factor with each win, Louis van Gaal says that the players should forget competing for the league title against the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea if they cannot improve away from home.

The former Bayern Munich manager is not happy with the away form and has urged the players to improve on their away displays if they really want to get anywhere near to being considered genuine title contenders in the run in.
