The Manchester United manager has said that he will not allow the young Belgian to leave Old Trafford this January
The 19 year old has made just four starts under the Dutchman despite a promising start to his professional career under David Moyes last season during which he made 27 league appearances and really impressed everyone with his displays in an otherwise dismal season.
Recent reports in the media suggested that the youngster could be farmed out to French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain who are interested in signing the youngster on a loan deal with an option to sign him on a permanent basis.
However, much to the relief of fans, any such rumor has been quashed after Van Gaal stated that he is not going to allow the Belgium international to leave the club this January which will come as a major disappointment to Laurent Blanc who is a great admirer of the player.
The emergence of James Wilson and arrival of Angel Di Maria has reduced Januzaj’s chances of playing regularly but the manager told the club’s official Twitter account that he is a player of United, thus ending the two day long speculation linking the teenager with a move to Parc des Princes.
