Lucas Leiva to leave in January?

Italian Serie A giants, Inter Milan are seriously considering making a January bid for outcast Lucas Leiva of Liverpool.

The Brazil international has fallen down the pecking order and is keen on seeking a fresh footballing challenge in a bid to work his way back to the Brazilian national team under Dunga.

And, new Inter Milan manager, Roberto Mancini is very keen on acquiring two fresh faces during the upcoming January transfer window.

While talking to reporters, the Italian tactician revealed that he is pretty much interested in signing the likes of Lucas Leiva and Tottenham man Aaron Lennon.

In other news, Fiorentina shot-stopper, Neto is edging closer to a move to Anfield after stalling on a contract renewal with La Viola.

The Brazilian is considered as one of the best goalkeepers in the Serie A and Brendan Rodgers is eyeing him as a perfect replacement for Simon Mignolet whose form has been rather hapless so far this season.

Moreover, the Belgium international would definitely do well with some competition for a number 1 role.

However, The Reds face stiff competition to acquire the keeper’s services with AS Roma also closely monitoring his contractual situation which means that a really big money offer is something Liverpool will have to place in order to out bid Rudi Garcia’s side.
